Our 4yo Program - EMU

Attending 600hrs of PreSchool before school is an important part of young children's growth and development.

Attending PreSchool improves children's health and wellbeing, supports their development, helps them to develop strong social skills and encourages a love of learning.

Eligability

Children can not commence before they are 4 years of age. Enrolments will not be accepted after the completion of Term 2 (June 30th 2022). If your child is 3 years of age after this date, we recommend looking to our 3 years of age program.

Cognitive Development

Children should be able to improve their ability to focus, to remember information and think more critically as they age. Cognitive skills allow children to understand the relationships between ideas, to grasp the process of cause and effect and to improve their analytical skills.

Creative Development

What's important in any creative act is the process of self-expression. Creative experiences can help children express and cope with their feelings. ... Creativity also fosters mental growth in children by providing opportunities for trying out new ideas, and new ways of thinking and problem-solving.

School Reediness

School readiness is extremely important as it allows teachers to expand and further develop a child's skills in the areas they need. These basic skills help a child make a smooth transition into the school environment.
